An Evening of Fun for Media at #MediaHangoutNG, Cointreau End-of-Year Soiree

MediaHangoutNG

The poolside at Oasis Med Spa in Ikoyi, Lagos offered the perfect ambience on Sunday for some of the finest hands in the Nigerian media to hang out and exchange ideas at the end of year party organised for the media by MediaHangoutNG.

Media personalities from radio, PR, television, social media, newspapers, blogs, creatives and more, were all there.  The line-up include: actor cum online comedy sensation, Frank Donga, Radio and TV gurus Chico of Classic FM, Sulaiman Aledeh and Chamberlain Usoh of Channels TV, Jonathan James Lyamgohn of Urban FM, EbonyLife TV’s Doris Okafor, Funke Osae-Brown of The Luxury Reporter, Bayo Olupohunda of Naij.com, Jayne Usen-Augoye of Premium Times and Fabmum, Sola Thompson of Urban Radio, PR lady Aniwura Omolayo, Tolulope Adeleru Balogun of Nigeria Info, Frank Uzuegbunam of Business Day newspaper and social media gurus Demola Expoze and Dat Guy Kofo were all assembled.

Inspiration FM’s Rufai Oseni did a good job hosting the event. Rosemary Egabor, founder, MediaHangoutNG, said the idea behind the annual event is “to celebrate the achievements of media personalities, share knowledge, network and just let their hair down, as 2016 counts down.”

Cointreau

Cointreau was there too

Christmas came early for Jane of FabMum, Pamilerin and Funke Osae-Brown of The Luxury Reporter who won spa vouchers. Frank Donga grabbed the ultimate gift certificate. All courtesy Oasis Med Spa. Cointreau on ice and Pepsi kept guests happy with some exquisite cocktails, all evening.

It was announced that the MediaHangoutNG village square, an initiative of Urban10 Hub, will now be a quarterly event based on popular demand.

“The vision is to improve how media practitioners and the public perceive the Nigerian media, by bringing dignity and respect back to the profession through trainings, online campaigns and networking events where issues are discussed and solutions created,” added Egabor.
