I proceeded to the immigration to board my flight to Amsterdam with my boarding pass in hand and the immigration form to fill.

Other four journalists were on the trip to experience the newly upgraded Business Class lounges in Amsterdam and Paris, including the business class cabins aboard Air France/KLM flights.

It promises to be an exciting journey right from my experience of the newly redesigned business class lounge at the MMIA Lagos Airport.

The new business class lounge located at the upper floor before the boarding gates boasts one comfy cushioned chairs in hues of dark blue and red the iconic colours of Air France/KLM.

On the menu for the evening were mashed beans (Ewa Agoyin) with a tasty sauce, jollof rice, fried rice and other canapes. Here you will have unlimited access to food and drinks, from juice, water to beer, red wine and other alcoholic beverages.

The cosy atmosphere at the lounge allows you to read and respond to your emails or tidy up any business transactions you are yet to finalise before arriving at the airport. There is unlimited access to wi-fi.  There are local and international newspapers for your reading pleasure too.

If you like to freshen up for the night before your flight, showers are available next to the restroom on the lower floor
