The Macallan Unveils Harmony Collection Rich Cacao in Nigerian Market
Inspired by the fine expertise of the chocolate-making process and the drive for sustainability, The Macallan has unveiled the new expressions that form the first edition of The Harmony Collection, a limited-release series motivated by the brand’s curiosity and its innovative and creative mindset. The brand launched this limited-release series at an exclusive preview and tasting at the Ox Restaurant and Bar in Victoria Island, Lagos, on Thursday, December 1, 2022.
Whisky connoisseurs enjoyed an exclusive and luxury curated experience characterised by pairing of assorted luxury chocolates with The Harmony expression for the first time in Nigeria.
This limited release is crafted from a harmonious combination of European and American oak casks, drawing from its nearly 200-year history and connection to nature. It comes in a fully recyclable and biodegradable box, made using natural by-products in the chocolate-making process. Using innovative techniques and natural materials — discarded husks from cacao pods — that have reached the end of their life span to create the elegant packaging.
The whisky is the result of a collaboration between Whisky Maker, Polly Logan, and world-renowned pastry chef, Jordi Roca of the El Celler de Can Roca in Spain.

Founded in 1824, The Macallan is renowned for its extraordinary, ultra-prestige single malt whisky. It is one of the first distilleries in Scotland to be legally licensed. In 2018, The Macallan opened a new chapter in its history with the launch of its award-winning Speyside distillery. The Macallan has collaborated with exhibitions and culinary experiences in the country. In November, The Brand gave credence to Mai Atafo’s craftsmanship by sponsoring this exquisite fashion designer’s runway event.
The Macallan Harmony Collection is now available in select boutique liquor outlets in Nigeria.
