Lovers of exquisite interior décor are in for a treat as Nike Solanke has finally opened her ultramodern interior décor showroom, NikhiPearl along the Lekki/Epe Expressway.
The outfit offers top notch interior design, customised accessories, and fitting-out services. Its services range from residential and commercial developments interior solutions to mixed-use developments and special purpose spaces like studios, theatrical or concert stages, restaurants among others.
“Our design concepts vary from contemporary themes and postmodern hi-tech themes to ethnic themes and touches, our client’s participation is encouraged in every phase of the project enabling respective clients to achieve excellent value for their investments,” explained Solanke.
For her, NikhiPearl is a dream come true after 11 years of thinking of what she would do with her life. A friend came along. After her friend saw the beautiful interior decoration in Solanke’s apartment, she encouraged her to taken on her passion as a business.
“My friend sold her shares to raise money for me,” she recalled. “She told me my home was beautiful. I trained as an accountant but God opened my friend’s eyes to see the creative side of me. She later went ahead to get my first job.”
Solanke explained that she finds an edge in the fast-growing real estate market. “It is a market where a large and rapidly growing number of clients crave for interior design solutions that are locally adaptive and globally competitive in style.”
Solanke who trained at the Dorothy van Riet Design Academy in South Africa is a passionate design and art enthusiast who has a passion for her clients’ interior spatial needs met. “My background in accounting has also helped me in my business. This has contributed in my successful execution of several projects for different clients’ category,” she added.
