Unfurling, An Art Exhibition

UNFURLING an exhibition of photography and poetry by Sandra and Amara Obiago. UNFURLING is a unique mother-daughter exhibition of photography and poetry. The exhibition will run from June 9th to August 30th, 2014  at the Wheatbaker.  You will have the opportunity of meeting the artists and taking a tour of the 40+ art works displayed before complimentary lunch.

Homeland Memories, an art exhibition

Celebrating the paintings of Offoedu-Okeke, it features works depicting his unique style of panels of drizzles, totems, faces and tapestroid paintings which are subtly based on geometric grid profiles. The exhibition will be on display at Temple Muse from June 23^rd to August 30^th, 2014.

Impresario, an exhibition on Steve Rhodes

A two-week exhibition of photographs and other memorabilia in memory of the Music Impresario and ElderArtsman, Steven Omodele Bankole Rhodes (aka Elder Rhodes), who passed on six years ago (May 29, 2008) at 82.  It was declared open by Nobel laureate, Prof. Wole Soyinka on Thursday, May 29, 2014. The exhibition is still on-going at the Museum gallery of  Freedom Park, Old Colonial Prison, 1 Hospital Road (by Broad Street), Lagos.

Fire, a dance/musical concert

“Fire: The Show” is produced by Spirit of David. It comes up at Muson Centre Onikan, Lagos, Lagos, Lagos Doors : June 14th 2014 @ 07:00 PM Ends : June 14th 2014 @ 11:00 PM. The tickets for the show are available on Afritickets and from registered ticket sales agents. Set at N3000, N5000 and N20000 the evening’s event is expected to easily sell out. “FIRE” is billed to begin at 7.00pm, guests are to be seated by 6.00pm prompt.
