Lighting designs is taking a new turn with the recent design of ultraluxury lights by Amsterdam-based Studio Drift’s poetic Flylight light.
It consists of halogen lights placed inside little glass tubes that are then hung on wires in groups, forming flowing shapes like those created by giant flocks of birds.
These lights are programmed to light up and dim partly in response to a predetermined rhythm and partly in response to random movement in their environment.
