On Wednesday, the internet went agog when Cuppy Otedola, musician and daughter of billionaire, Femi Otedola, posted three pictures of customised Ferraris gifted her and her two sisters, Temi and Tolani. Each Ferrari costs N83,523,200 ($215,000). The total cost of the three is N252 million.
Each of the Ferrari has customised plate numbers with nicknames of each of them. Cuppy’s pink Ferrari comes with plate number CUP 9Y, Temi’s has NI JTO, Tolani’s bears: TOL 44.
Here are a few things you need to know about cars:
The Ferrari Portofino (Type F164) is a grand touring sports car 2+2 hard-top convertible.
It has a 0–60 mph (0–97 km/h) time of 3.5 seconds.
The car is named after the village of Portofino in northern Italy.
It succeeds the company’s previous V8 grand tourer, the California T.Engine: 3.9 L Ferrari F154BE V8 (twin-turbocharged).
The roof folds up or down in just under 15 seconds and can be activated when driving 30mph or slower.
Regardless of how you choose to drive it, the aggressive nose is borderline threatening when you catch it coming up quickly in your rearview mirror.
Inside you’ll find a 10.2-inch HD infotainment system that has Apple CarPlay capability, alongside front and rear-parking cameras and voice command functionality.
With N83,523,200 ($215,000) a Portofino can be yours.
