Super-Rare 2010 Mercedes-Benz SLR Stirling Moss Up For Sale At Sotheby’s Sealed
One of the most exclusive Mercedes-Benzes ever built is to be offered by RM Sotheby’s via Sotheby’s Sealed. Only 75 of these examples were ever built.
The incredible 2010 Mercedes-Benz SLR Stirling Moss will be available for sale through its Sotheby’s Sealed online auction platform. Created to honour what is arguably the most famous racing car of all time, the iconic 300 SLR which Sir Stirling Moss piloted to victory in the 1955 Mille Miglia with co-driver Denis Jenkinson, this model represents the final and rarest iteration of the SLR McLaren.
Boasting extensive use of carbon fibre throughout, the Stirling Moss enjoyed a 200 kg weight reduction in comparison to the SLR 722 Edition, making it a nimble and agile machine that is at home on road or track. Powered by a brutal 641 bhp, 5.5-litre supercharged AMG V-8, the machine is capable of an incredible top speed of 354 km/h.
This masterpiece boasts a staggering 641 horsepower and a visceral, open-top driving experience, with not even a windscreen to separate the driver from the road.
The example will be on display at Retromobile in Paris from 1 to 5 February
