Portrait of Sisi Nurse, a 1922 painting by Aina Onabolu is a painting of an unidentified lady in white and rendered in semi-silhouette, with the face blurred.  Made on Oil on canvas and measuring 64 x 41 cm. (25 x 16 inches.), it was sold at a record sale of Sold at N8.250million ($51, 563) instead of the estimated N10,000,000-12,000,000 ($ 62,500-75,000) price at the November 2013 Arthouse Contemporary Auction. Perhaps it is the first time an Aina Onabolu will make such a record sale at the secondary market.
