unnamedIn 1998, Tiffany Amber launched its eponymous collection to the delight of fashion lovers within and outside the country.  15 years on, the Tiffany Amber brand has graced many runways across the world. Often described as perfect for the modern African woman, Tiffany Amber’s collection usually showcase ultra-feminine pieces made from the most luxurious fabrics; which has become a distinctive look that the label is synonymous with.

Owned by Folake Coker, Tiffany Amber creates feminine, timeless pieces – that brings out the princess in every woman. Tiffany Amber’s glamorous creations are characterized by sensual shapes, the richest of fabric and exquisite detail.

Coker says when she launched Tiffany Amber, it was the first ready-to-wear label in Nigeria, revolutionising Nigerian fashion and paving the way for the industry we know and love today. Fast forward 15 years and what you have is a luxurious lifestyle brand that transcends the whole of Africa with outstanding global recognition.

To celebrate this monumental occasion, The 15th anniversary celebrations kicked off in September with the unveiling of the Tiffany Amber,  “Nigeria’s Women of Vision” Campaign, in perfect partnership with Diamond Woman – an initiative by Diamond Bank, designed specifically for women, by women, providing women with financial, business and lifestyle advice, helping them to achieve their aspirations. Make up and Hair for the campaign came courtesy of Maybelline and Dark & Lovely respectively.

The Women of Vision Campaign is the brainchild of Coker who in recognising the achievement of having built a successful and sustainable business over 15 years, acknowledges that one of the greatest things that she has experienced in growing her empire, is the incredible women she encounters on a daily basis. These women are inspirational, they are empowered and she wants to share them with the world. Most specifically the younger generation of women, searching for strong female role models; After all in Coker’s own words “Girls with dreams, become women of vision!”

The Women of Vision Campaign, in line with the brand’s age, will feature 15 women between the ages of 18 and 60 representing Tiffany Amber’s multi-generational following. The campaign, which was shot in Lagos this summer, by renowned photographer Philip Trimnell will be revealed at an exclusive cocktail event and exhibition on 11th October 2014.

This campaign is slated to run for the next 5 years spanning a selection of women across Africa; with the purpose of developing a mentorship scheme. Mentees will have the opportunity to intern and seek advice and support from these women in their respective fields. After a year-long period, the mentees shall graduate from the scheme and will be assisted in spearheading their dream careers.

The anniversary celebrations will culminate in style with a one-of-a kind Grand-Finale fashion show, featuring a collection that the designer has described as “my best collection to date.”
