The man with the largest garage of Rolls-Royce in Nigeria dies on Wednesday at the Ikeja Isolation Centre in Lagos, Nigeria. He was aged 64.

Akin-Olugbade taking delivery of the latest addition to his RR collection, Rolls-Royce Cullinan from Coscharis Group Marketing and Communication, general manager, Abiona Babarinde. He was the first to own and drive the car in Nigeria.

Before his death, Bolu Akin-Olugbade was the first person to take delivery of customised Rolls-Royce SUV, Cullinan in the country from Coscharis Motors the same year it was released. It was the last addition to his fleet of Rolls-Royce Cars. Among his collection was the Rolls-Royce Dawn, Phantom, Ghost, among others.

Born on April 2, 1956, to the family of late Babatunde Akin-Olugbade, Balogun of Owu and a wealthy businessman who had a strong penchant for Rolls-Royce cars.

Akin-Olugbade holds the traditional title of the aare ona- kankanfo of Owu kingdom. His interest in business spans property development, construction, manufacturing, logistics, distribution, maritime and offshore services and investment banking.

He attended Corona School, King’s College, Lagos and London University where he studied Law. Akin-Olugbade had his master’s degree in law at University of California and obtained his doctorate degree in company law at Cambridge University.
